October is Agent Orange Awareness Month

  1. We lose more Vietnam Veterans every year because of Agent Orange than we lose WWII and Korean Veterans combined from natural causes due to age. And yet Vietnam Veterans are denied disability from agent orange and Monsanto is not punished and they are protected.

  5. All Americans should hold the US Government accountable for their use of chemical weapons in the Nam, for their interfearance by way of political influence in the Ranch Hand Report, for their political interfearance in the CDC's Reports specifically adressing agent orange maladies, for classifying Zumwalts report of 1990 and his belief that most, if not all cancers can be traced back to AO exposure........"It is as least as likely as not" May the Lord Almighty acceept the souls of the 58,000 men who lost their lives in this war and, the MIA's and the veterans who are getting ignored now over their AO claims.

  6. After I returned from Vietnam in 1968 I was already having complications from stomach problems rash and peeling of skin and went to the VA for AO screening where they did a regular physical and checked my prostate. Years go by and I am still having the same issues and filled a claim that was quickly denied as this part of the body had not been studied yet! By the year 2000 I had developed a serious issue and didn't know it. I started bleeding and I don't mean a little but a lot as it gushed out of my rectum and I got so weak that I thought I was going to pass out from loosing that much blood. I went to local Doctor and got scoped and the told me they found a very rare disease and they called it Multiple Colonic Polyposis syndrome in short I had colonies of Polyps through out my Colon. I went to the VA in Lexing ton Ky and met Dr Hagga Harra a Japanese doctor who remove all of my colon but of 2 inches and they told me my colon was a mess and scared with polyps and ares that looked like Crohns and irritable Bowell syndrome so I opened another claim and again was denied and told that this part of the body had not been studied and there is know new evidence here. Years go by and I continue to say to the medical people that Agent Orange caused this and until you can prove other wise I am sticking to my thoughts. Finally a Doctor listened to me as I stated this was not caused by Crohns but Agent Orange and he asked me if I would consider to go to a genetic group to learn more and I said sure so they set up the appointment at University Of Louisville Ky Genetics with the head professor and a scientist and we attempted to discuss the possibilities of genetics causing my problems and they finally stated that something just wasn't adding up and would I consider letting them take my blood and sending it to California labs to be studied and the results came back after 5 weeks and a cost of 5000.00 and it showed that I had been exposed to chemicals!!!!! I felt vindicated and took this paper work and files another claim and a gain it came back denied as this part of the body has not been studied and there is know new information here. I thought B.S. this is new info as my blood has never been studied like this before and the results stated chemical and the U of Louisville was careful and stated that this Vet has been expose to AO and we do not know the results of what AO can do but left the door open to possibilities! But still no recognition by the VA What a shame as they wait for me to die with other complications that still exists
