Come Celebrate & See What Actually Happened At Love Canal

I hope you can come to this exciting event!
This year marks the 35th anniversary of the Love Canal crisis in Niagara Falls, NY which launched the grassroots environmental health and justice movement and set off the alarm to the public about how environmental chemicals may be impacting health especially children’s health.
Join us in a celebration and view a short film clip of the struggle at Love Canal from the documentary, A Fierce Green Fire narrated by Robert Redford and raise a glass to toast the Center for Health, Environment & Justice (CHEJ), the grassroots movement and the nation’s progress since that landmark event.
The event is on October 30, 2013, just off Dupont Circle at the Carriage House, 1781 Church Street, Washington, D.C. from 6:00 – 8:30
Details of celebration and tickets available by clicking here. We are very excited that a CHEJ donor has agreed to match the funds raised (up to $5,000).  So your contribution could be doubled, while you also have a great time.
