I am a Vietnam veteran. I have had cancer twice caused by Agent Orange.
I have a daughter who has a number of medical problems that are common to the
daughters of Vietnam veterans. Many of the daughters of Vietnam
veterans have medical problems with their reproductive organs. She also
suffers from chronic headaches, and neck pains. She has lost all of her
hair twice. All of her medical problems are listed by The Children of Vietnam Veterans Health Alliance.
There is a bill in Congress, the Toxic Exposure Research Act of 2015 which will address the medical problems of the children of Vietnam veterans and the children of veterans of other conflicts who were exposed to toxic substances.
The House Committee on Veterans Affairs voted to send the Toxic Exposure Research Act to the full House for consideration on Thursday, February 25, 2016.
